Life form vocabulary #100

This is for after the HISPID review.

The life forms in the GBIF vocabulary, which we adopted for the vascular plants, are the Raunkiaer life forms. I can't see those ever be used in collecting data, or even floras. Wouldn't a system with things like 'tree', 'shrub', 'mallee', 'herb', 'forb', 'grass(y thing)' etc. be more useful? We could always related those back to the Raunkiaer life forms.

Also keep open for the fungi – and maybe algae – life forms.

HISCOM 2016: Add these terms and provide clear definitions.

HISCOM 2017: decided to remove the vocabulary for vascular plants until it can be replaced with something more appropriate. CANB has lifeForm in their database and we can use their list as a starting point.

CANB currently has a free text field but would like to map to a vocabulary that is more meaningful to users. Life form in this context is from field book notes. We will look into options.
