macOS htop crashes after about a day `Unable to get kinfo_procs: Cannot allocate memory` #963

macOS Catalina 10.15.1

Homebrew htop v2.2.0_1. After a day or so of happily htop-ping, my htop halts with the error message:

$ htop
Unable to get kinfo_procs: Cannot allocate memory

no other message or odd behavior. My system has 64GB of memory, and most of it is "inactive" according to htop, so it's not physical memory I'm running out of.

Same issue here. Happens quite frequent. Did recently upgrade to Catalina 10.15.2. Maybe that's related?

I know Big Sur isn't supported yet but this is happening quite often in my laptop.

One more. Immediate with sudo. Within minutes not using sudo.
