Model scale is not 1 to 1 with Source Units #2

For instance, a model that is 128 squared in source is actually 243.8 in this asset library, instead of being 128 blender units. All models have to be scaled by 0.525 if you want parity between source and blender units.

This is also a little odd since in my experince, at least when importing maps, SourceIO scales them appropriately to Blender units.

Everything, except TF2 content (scaled at 0.1 for my ports) is scaled at 0.01905. The SourceIO default. I am under the impression that this is the conversion unit for Hammer Units to centimeters, meaning everything should be at their real-life size. I think I was told this by the creator of SourceIO, REDxEYE. Regardless, I plan to add a scaler option in the Map Extras, which should scale lights and objects appropriately.

Is it normal that buildings, doors, etc., have normal proportions, but all the characters are about 50 cm shorter than they should be?

I mean, it's possible that they proportions are the same in the game, but I just didn't notice when I played. My friends and I are making a remake and we can't figure out if this was done intentionally to stretch out the gameplay or if someone at Valve should be fired.
