clear and informative shell prompt #8

The shell prompt is the bit of text that shows up in our shells to indicate that we can interact with them.

It usually gives some details about the current shell session. Usually by default it provides the hostname, which is not great news at all.

This prompt primarily tells us the shell is ready for input, but it could be much more useful. E.g. it may include:

Besides providing necessary bits of information, the prompt should be fast and pretty, without being overwhelming or distracting.

On one machine I have something as depicted in snippet below and it feels good enough.

does that command show the information you described in the issue above? fish shell does it by default (including git branch)
