What's going on at hitbtc? I have the same issue since weeks and it's not only for a specific coin. I can buy and sell anything that is in it's trading account. I can deposit to the main account. BUT I can't move any coin - not even BTC - between the main and the trading accounts - either direction.

I finally got a reply fro hitbtc. They said there had been suspicious activity on my account and they suspected it had been hacked so they blocked transfers. They requested I change my password and enabled 2FA - which I had already done. Then get back to them and they'll re-enable the account functionalities.

Of course it's a little strange that I could still buy and sell cryptos on the account if it was blocked...

Hi, I have the same issue - I cant withraw/send no coins from my main account on HitBTC. They do not send an confirmation email. Their support desk asked mi for pictures ( their engineers will solve it o)) )so I sent them pictures but no response several days......I do not know what to do.....

I haven't heard anything back from them and the problem persists. I think they have serious security problems and they can't solve them. Better not use that service again.

Now you can read on their main page, that they do some maintanance work and thats the reason why some customers have problem with deposit/withrawal. Hope that very soon it should be ok

@Marace KYC = Know Your Customer. They ask for identification documents (Passport, Driver's license) and a photo of the customer (selfie in front of the monitor). HitBTC also asks for evidence of source of deposited funds.

The KYC check is a specific procedure for some customers. Probably if you deposit FIAT currencies over a certain amount you could end up in the process. It's basically a legal requirement for any financial institution in order to prevent money laundering. The end result is the same. They block transactions while they check the customer.

However this is not my case at all. I don't even have much there and it will be 0 once those idiots manage to stumble into each other long enough that by accident my account might be available again.

You can only wait. I've received a response that they are verifying that I've actually changed the password and enabled 2FA. They said they would get back to me once they have checked it.That was a few days ago. I guess they have an enormous amount of accounts to verify.
