Some extra features I want to get to the bottom of based on reading the docgen code for pytorch:

[x] creating an example gallery with sphinx_gallery.gen_gallery
[ ] how to use intersphinx correctly.
[ ] generating documentation pages from python source.
[ ] automatically running documentation to test it.
