I haven't noticed that. But I agree. I prefer the non-US format. In Europe and most of the world, most people think as in the orders of magnitude. So, days first, then month than a year (or vice versa).
I should be able to show the date according to the device locale. Will take a look
It would be nice to be able to choose a date and time format (like "yyyy-mm-dd" or "dd/mm/yyy") The default US format can be confusing for people not used to it.
