Email notifications #200

Hey!

Have you guys considered adding email notifications (optional) if the user decides to provide their username?

It would be a great feature to add!

I like it! We'd need to find a place for configuring notification settings. @w-hive normally has a stronger opinion about settings menu/tab/drawer. Perhaps @jenbennings and @haustraliaer can provide some design advice here?

@weilu Im just wondering, how would you implement this? Would the user have to have hivejs in a background tab? I though hivejs was mostly client side stuff.

Also, it would fit nicely in the tab where you enter your name and gravatar email (you can even combine the notification email with the gravatar email)

What I have in mind is a separate service, which does bring up some privacy and centralization concerns. Regardless, that's an implementation detail. I still think it's a good idea.

@weilu Kk. Maybe you should just track every public key for every account and send a notification?

Regardless, it would be a feature I would love to see soon!
