FYI I will be writing these up here: https://github.com/hivewallet/hive-js/wiki/Hive-Web-FAQ

Free to add/edit.

@jenbennings I added: "Why does my address change?"

@weilu @haustraliaer Are we still envisioning this content (in whatever form) being a part of the on-boarding flow? At this stage I'm starting to think we should gather some feedback from this release before we presume information gaps. It is a beta release, after all.

I know @mattatgit has some basic info about the wallet on the proposed microsite that deals with some of these questions, so I'd like to know if this is still relevant—particularly as it relates directly to list item no. 6 in #66.

mattatgit commented 10 years ago

yeah we could possibly add another section in the microsite for questions (maybe a link under "Tech Stuff" along the lines of "Questions about how it works ?", jumps you down to an accordion in the footer or something similar with a basic usage guide perhaps. Just want to be careful about putting questions about it high up in the information flow - it will appear more confusing to use.

I think our FAQs are useful. I'll spend some time reviewing it before the conference. Even if they don't make it to the site we can still link people to the wiki page worst case.

Modified as per @jsuder's suggestion: https://github.com/hivewallet/hive-js/wiki/Hive-Web-FAQ/_compare/a8f89e987de8d69af2af2803d8e52ca4f9154972...9f045bc10f495873be19f39df24c0f29d2f6477d

These are now done. Even if we don't use them in a traditional sense (e.g. FAQ page on hivewallet.com), I'm confident they will come in handy for support tickets on zendesk, or helping to form the basis of content for #150.
