No match found when UTC time crosses 0000 hrs #22

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Half my pictures were taken just before 0000 hrs UTC, the other after.
2. The first half of the pictures were correctly located and tagged.
3. Errors were flagged on the second half - the program thinks that the
time difference is 23+ hours off.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I've checked the GPX file against the photos and the program should have
matched them. I suspect that the time comparison may be buggy.
Incidentally, I'm at UTC - 7 hours.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.98-1, XP Pro SP2

Please provide any additional information below.

Hello David,

Could you also provide the gpx and two pictures (one which work and the other
one
which didn't wolrk).

Obviously I will delete the data after, it will help me to fix the problem
quicker.

Thanks!

Ok thanks for the data David.

I've got a problem with the "dates must match" option in this situation.

If you uncheck "dates must match" it works for me (but then be careful that you
just
have one "trip" in your gpx and put the photos of your trip in a folder).

I'm very busy this week and it looks like I need to rethink the problem
properly. In
the worse situation I hope to have a solution this WE.

Thanks very much again for your data and for pointing to this issue.

It seems OK now.

I've made a new release on sourceforge. version 0.98-2.

Tell me if you encounter other problems. Thanks!
