Audio delay in internet calls #30

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connect to SIP Application from internet with 2 different red5Phones
2. Make a call from one phone to the other one

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect a real time conversation without delays, what i see is that after
some unpredictable time the audio delay grows up to 2 seconds. This makes
the phone unusable.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Red5Phone: the lastest stable version
Red5: 0.8 RC2

I don't have this issue within the intranet or using one red5phone and one
real SIP phone (a CISCO one).

I confirm. Same problem also for me.
It seems to be a packetization issue on the red5phone.

The delay is really too much high.
Any help would be appreciated.

Same problem for me. Delay only in one direction, about 2 seconds. It also
happens in local network. Red5 0.9.1
Does anyone have any idea what's going on?
