There is a difference:
Anti-aliasing off:
Native Temporal AA enabled:
New upscaler:
Also according to what is talked here https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimvr/comments/100ec97/skyrim_vr_parallax_shader_showcase_2023_guide/ , Parallax (our task here https://github.com/hkirsman/skyrim_vr_3090/issues/2 ) is now better supported with DLAA.
I had performance issues:
DLAA enabled
TSA
But seems I was using wrong mod. There's VR version for this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/82179
The VR version didn't hit GPU much so that's great!
Going with DLAA only atm. I don't the image quality getting better with DLSS. Maybe it does help if some ENB is enabled but we'll see that in future.
Also changing Quality Preset to high in the game just be sure we have good settings. I did try to be 100% sure if TAA needs to on in the game or not but I think what the author says on the mod page - TAA on or off really does not matter. The mod will control that.
Merged to main. Closing this.
This is the correct mod for VR: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/82179 Check comments below.
Wrong mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/80343
Do some research/screenshots on how much better it is from native antialiasing (TLA)
