There are a lot of different tree replacements, but it seems at first I'd just need to replace the original trees with little better graphics so EVT: Enhanced Vanilla Trees SSE should be a great upgrade.

This post https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimvr/comments/8can5a/tree_mods_comparison_recommendation/ recommends SBT: TL;DR: Use Simply Bigger Trees SE - (formerly SkySight SBT) with HQ Tree Bark and its "Lush Trees" option. Use Realistic Aspen Trees SE 4k and the SBT RAT loose files version if at all possible. Use 2K resolution for HQTB and RAT, it's enough, you can always switch to 4K if you ever feel a need to.

Will have to compare.

SBT has a lot more endorsements but they still look comparable in popularity.

Todo: Choose mod Check fTreesMidLODSwitchDist setting in . Seems it's basically set to ultra atm and I'm not sure what changed that to 9999999.0000 but let's keep it at "Ultra" for now.
