google.c rule blocking all google services , even google search, please could you remove this rule? Screenshot 2020-10-29 012036

Seems to me to be an issue just for your region since for me it loads google.com and hangouts.google.com just fine.

Are you visiting google.com?

ghost commented 4 years ago

No, i could visit only if add custom rules in adguard. All google services arent available. Screenshot 2020-10-29 115527

I can't access that site either with the list enabled. Not even translate.google.com myself, not with .ua extension. www.google.com.au is swaped so there needs to be www.google.com.ua along with it.

same along with https://translate.google.cn/?hl=en https://translate.google.co.uk/?hl=en&sl=el&tl=mk

probably should remove all google entirely from the blacklist.

Since its region based and the redirects of the server depending on the user. There are servers that can be very strict in some places that its almost impossible to get away from without even with a vpn.

But other than that, Great Job on this Project! But no kidding being strict thou, maybe to stricted.

I started experimenting with it and found that adding this rule to custom rules solve all problems with all google services including google search. Just add this: @@||google.c$important

Reasons I edited and suggested to eradicate google entirely bc I included that factor. To many google urls and other scenario's to create constant problems from this list to save people's time.

I think there's a L in there like google.de is.

I agree with you. it is just a quick fix way.

Some how, http://google.nl/ and http://google.ln/ (both L's) went throu which means they weren't in this list. So something in this list is blocking certain google domains unintentional.

But after that, I don't know much of the other domains.

Thanks for all the feedback on this, I'll review the list and see what's going on.

Please all check that you have:

To be clear after all my testing (from Australia) as of yet I've failed to reproduce the reported blocking of Google domains.

I'm going to the remove the rule "google.c" in the next generated AIO list.

Edit: Generated it
