Same philosophy as issue Notion of "copy to patient" #22 : mention all receivers
We could reuse this from the order https://build.fhir.org/ig/hl7-be/hl7-be-fhir-referral-prescription/StructureDefinition-be-ext-inform-party.html
WG agrees to add this as a comment on the Service Request level for the order (consensus of the POC group)
As soon as the physicians that should receive a copy are registered in the lab order, we can use these data in the report.
@bdc-ehealth Is there more information on how to incorporate a BeInformParty in the report? Should it be an Extension of a BeLaboratoryReport? Or is there another way?
BTW the link doesn't work but this is likely the new version: https://build.fhir.org/ig/hl7-be/referral/StructureDefinition-be-ext-inform-party.html
@FlorianBonte-Moonchase ,
Hello Florian,
as you correctly indicate, the InformParty extension is a part of the referral prescription IG (which is not yet published, and certainly for lab referrals, quite volatile. But you are correct that the service request now used in the lab report is related to the lab referral. In a future iteration of the lab project, we will certainly have to deal with that. As of now, I would not commit to using the extension now in the lab project, as it is not published yet, and the lab project is already published.
@bdc-ehealth
Thanks for the reply.
Does this imply that there is no (official) way to include multiple copy recipients in the report?
Our reports not only indicate physician who ordered the lab tests, but may list other physicians in cc of lab results. We cannot find who to encode those in the FHIR message (i.e. we do not know where to put those). Do we not indicate this? Or if we do, where and how?
