id and canonical url conventions #8

eHDSI ValueSets do not follow the typical ortography for id-s and canonical urls (using camelcase, not lowercase and dashes between words).

We will not change eHDSI decided logic in conversion. The question is, has that been discussed or should we report as a finding. @gcangioli?

for ids and canonicals I saw used everything.. ;-) some prefer to use only lower cases other start with the resource name (lower or capital) ......and it is not so uncommon to have different approaches used for terminology resources, profiles and extensions or withing the same class of artefacts.. For example if you look to the terminology.hl7.orf you can find v3-ActCode or ex-diagnosisrelatedgroup or http://terminology.hl7.org/CodeSystem/processpriority or http://terminology.hl7.org/CodeSystem/implantStatus all of the are HL7 systems...

the choice has been made for keeping as close as possible what is now in the excel file and in Art Decor...

we can discuss with the Seamntic team if we want to move the eHDSI in the base url and use the id only for describing the type of VS.. but we need t be careful, because are silly things that sometimes make sometimes people nervous.. ..
