8 months ago As the PCA system generated identifiers and not expected to be constructed by vendors, it was proposed by the FHIRWG that discovery in a namespace register would suffice. Noting that identifier slices in profiles are more about instructions to vendors to construct the identifiers in instances. This was related to the proposal raised about having a namespace register for various identifiers so that vendors/implementers can discover what the identifiers are used for / defined as
