The time taken to download files is different on the two domains which can be the cause for low performance scores.

With regards to the lower LHS discussion we had in our UAT handover meeting last week, we observed that the Air India site is currently using Akamai mPulse as the RUM solution. This may be resulting in lowering of the LHS that we are only observing on the Air India's subdomain URL for the page (uses mPulse) and not on the internal live url for the page (no mPulse). Quoting from the Edge Delivery documentation on mPulse
Do not enable Akamai mPulse Real Usage Monitoring. While the performance impact on most sites is negligible, for sites built for consistent high performance, enabling it will prevent reaching a Lighthouse Score of 100. In AEM, you have a Real User Monitoring service built-in, so that dual instrumentation will be unnecessary and is strongly discouraged.
Could you disable mPulse in Akamai for this test domain so that we can measure the LHS impact?
LHS score is 100 for performance in EDS domain but it is in ~90 in the subdomain.
