Context/Description

This ticket is a placeholder to visualize the work to be done by the Dev team for the configurator launch.

@Kannan-CM @Varunvolvo A note from Girish during testing: When we click on " Build your own" https://www.macktrucks.com/trucks/granite-series/ then it shows old configurator. Content pointing on Prod is remaining.

Can you please check on this finding from a content POV ? Thanks !

HI @mollyaljenkins, We haven't officially launched the new configurator for Mack Trucks. So, we are good for now.

Below is the summary:

  1. URLs will be changed just before the launch
  2. I have validated the production by altering the URL (as if its launched e.g. used https://www.macktrucks.com/truck-configurator/ & https://www.macktrucks.com/trucks/anthem/configurator/#/anthem)
  3. The PDF generated seems to have issue ( Requirements with Rapidimages) ... @Kannan-CM to raise it with Volvo/RapidImages.
  4. Share your configuration: Facebook & Linkdin - Not validated / Post launch validation (twitter/facebook)
  5. Download functionality tested and working fine.
  6. Email functionality - Did not received email : [Alan] we're just including the JS/CSS of the app; @Kannan-CM Please check with correct POC
  7. Submit request works fine
