Contacted Lee Springs about having a custom spring made. Gave them torque requirements and asked how compact a spring they could make that satisfies them. After viewing their website and McMaster's, it seems torsion springs get very large very quickly at our required torques, so a custom spring may be required... or a change in joint design.

This now falls under the overarching Joint issue and was looked into.
