From Darryl:
I am leaning toward Libertine-Inconsolata. It's just so pretty. I could read that all day.
Any thoughts? Any downsides that you can see from using that combination? These are publicly available fonts, so others won't have a problem compiling them, right?
The class currently uses Minion Pro as the typeface for final versions. As Minion Pro is an expensive commercial font, using it makes it difficult for others to use the class file.
Darryl has suggested using the
fouriernc
package, which uses the URW Schoolbook typeface.I suggested that we also look at the fonts we're currently using in the thesis/Clinic classes, which are
newpxtext
) for text (http://www.tug.dk/FontCatalogue/newpx/)inconsolata
) for typewriter text (http://www.tug.dk/FontCatalogue/inconsolata/)sourcesanspro
) for sans-serif (http://www.tug.dk/FontCatalogue/sourcesanspro/)We'll try both and let the editorial board decide which they like (or suggest other options).
