Summary

FinOps reporting currently uses PowerBI based on a Microsoft Cost Management connector. This connector lacks a good level of support from Microsoft at times, so we want to build a robust mechanism of getting cost data from Azure to somewhere we can then point PowerBI at.

The connector currently grabs data from an Enterprise Account / Enrolment perspective (i.e. it grabs CFT/SDS/Crime/HMPPS/MOJ data currently).

Intended Outcome

Cost data is exported from Azure at Enterprise Account level and held in somewhere that is within HMCTS' control (e.g. storage account)

Data has a minimum daily refresh (hourly would be nice to have)

Solution is able to hold minimum 24 months of data

PowerBI (justice) is able to use the cost data source to provide its reports
