Does not show up on the Share menu #14

I do not see a Imgur button under Share on Snagit version 11.1.0 (Build 248) of Sep 7 2012 running on Windows 7.

I had to make the following changes to the install process, don't know if any of this is causing it to fail:

  1. My Windows 7 install of Snagit did not have Accessories directory under %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\TechSmith\Snagit so I created it before extracting the zip
  2. I had to run register.bat in the elevated command prompt

Installed and works just fine for me on Windows 7 x64 with Snagit version 11.2.0 (Build 101).

No. I just followed the installation directions. I have UAC disabled so 2. was not necessary for me but using an elevated command prompt should not cause any issues. Since you do not have the Accessories directory, I would uninstall/re-install Snagit and try again. That directory already existed on my computer. I can't remember if I performed a clean install of Snagit 11 or upgraded (if that's even an option) from Snagit 10. Sorry I could not be of more help.

Thanks. I found later that I am actually using some shared version off a network drive. I wouldn't have permission to install anything there so I guess I have to find an alternative

I'm sorry it took a long while, but I was finally able to publish the updated version with an installer! Please download it here: https://github.com/hmemcpy/SnagitImgur/releases/download/1.0/SnagitImgur_1.0.0.msi

You should close Snagit (and Snagit Editor), install this, and start Snagit again. You should have Imgur in the Share tab!

Please let me know if you have any issues with it!

Doesn't work for me on Windows 7 x64 using Snagit 11.2.1 build 72. Nothing shows up under File or Share.

Hi! Sorry about that :( Just to make sure, have you restarted Snagit/Snagit editor? I mean, exited completely, including the tray icon? (sorry for the silly question) Also, do you happen to know if you have .NET 4 installed?

I'll run an additional check on Windows 7 x64, thanks!

Yes. I also used the Task Manager to make sure SnagIt was not running. I have .NET 4.5.1 installed.

Thank you for your hard work!

I uninstalled SnagIt and SnagitImgur and installed the latest version of Snagit and reinstalled SnagitImgur. Now the icon shows up in the Share tab but nothing happens when I click the icon.

I made sure this works on Win7, both 32 and 64 bit, also Windows 8. If this doesn't work still, I quit! :)
