Passkey - level of access #19

Thanks for the passkey. This is great for CoCs.

Are you planning on giving passkeys to agency-level people? If so, that passkey's access will have to be based on agency key rather than CoC code.

Joan,

Currently, the passkeys are set up to grant access to certain program groups (i.e., the groups under the “Group Names” app drop-down). Your passkey grants you access to the GA-506 - Marietta/Cobb County CoC group, which is group key 7.

All that to say, if it needs to be based on agency key, then that would require a little extra development. But it can be done. If this kind of access is only going to be granted to one or two agencies, then I would suggest creating groups in Pathways that are limited solely to those agencies. Then it would be very simple to add a passkey for them. However, if we envision many agencies using this, then it might be worth it to modify the app so that it can base passkeys off of agency keys, not just group keys. Does that make sense?
