In the gov.uk style guide it's:

code of practice

In HMRC's style guide it's

Code of Practice

Also, in HMRC's style guide there's a typo:

Code of Practice

Inital caps ‘C’ and ‘P’, lower case ‘o’.

Should be:

Initial caps ‘C’ and ‘P’, lower case ‘o’.

[Name of style or term]

[Name of your service or team]

Hi @Dan-Tester, I'm new to the design resources team and picking up this ticket.

I appreciate that this is quite an old issue, but will get the typo amended.

However, if this term is already in the gov.uk a to z, I would recommend we remove it from the HMRC a to z. This will avoid mistakes in duplication.

Louise.

Hi @Dan-Tester,

I've updated the entry in the style guide to reflect your comments. We've decided to keep it in to differentiate that it should be capitalised when referring to a specific product, but lower case otherwise.
