Since creating the calculator results screen we've been asked by other teams to show them the design. The calculator screen was tested by DAC and the service got a WCAG 2.1 AAA rating.
Research on this pattern
The need for a screen showing the calculation came out of many rounds of UR with end-users. They found it hard to do the calculation themselves but wanted to see how the final amounts had been worked out. The design we used enabled users to expand and hide the workings out depending on what the user wanted to see.
