[Cell-Level Metadata] Research restricting characters so that R can handle well

We need to check if cell-level files uploaded by the user can contain invalid characters and how they affect the pipeline.

Ideally some kind of validation should catch these and inform in a user-friendly way (check whether this would be better in the pipeline or in the ui).
