Ignition 8 Connector v2 - PR3

What was originally planned for only one final PR has expanded into far too many commits for a single pull request.

• Next PR No. 4 - Last significant PR, containing documentation and additional source code changes
• Next PR No. 5 - Small follow-up pull request to perform code signing and official release.
• Next PR No. 5a - Just prior to v2 release (or after, depending on time constraints), a patch should be performed to finalize the Ewon rebranding efforts.
  • Most references to the eWon text have been changed to Ewon (proper, updated branding capitalization)
  • Some instances of eWon remain, such as the module folder names, which can't easily be changed during an active development cycle (makes Git usage significantly more complex due to files changing also being renamed and/or moved.)

@it-hms @oliver-walker-hms I believe I have addressed all of the requested changes/comments with either a fix or a response/comment.

As the size of this pull request has rapidly grown with comments, it is becoming more difficult to track each individual requested change.

• Please let me know if I have missed anything. Also, feel free to 'resolve conversation' any requested changes or comments if they have been addressed to your satisfaction, as this allows me to much more easily get an idea of still outstanding fixes to be made.
