You could always pull the branch and edit the commit then repush.

I understand that doing so would disconnect the commit/PR from the Dependabot automation. This would mean that Dependabot commands do not work, and automatic rebasing will no longer function.
In this case, I think the preferred option should be to bypass the commit format check and maintain commit/PR connection with Dependabot automation.
