This mark above the π looks like a hammer... It does not look like any ending we have come across thus far. Dindorf has these two words as παρὰ τὸ, but the ending over the τ has been -ως in every other instance.

We have it marked as "π τῶς"
This abreviation for γαρ has a similar mark after the gamma. Does that mark mean "αρ"?

Changed to "παρα τῷ" as in line with common abbreviations.
