.... but dosen't get created as outputs in the sub-circuit symbol.
It really dosen't matter - I just discovered this by chance when I copied a part of a design into an new embedded circuit.
I guess it's a good thing that they don't turn up as output on the right side of the symbol and cluttering up it.
But now when I think about it a bit more it would be kinda cool to have them on the top or bottom to be used as an indicator of some internal state in the embedded circuit.
