Face the same issue
Found solution. Because Android X and Android support library exist conflicts.

That solution did not work for me.
Tried the above, and it did not work for me as well
Moving an app AndroidX can be a bit tricky as you have to get all the configs right. Here's what I changed in mine that works for me:
gradle-wrapper.properties:
distributionUrl=https\://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-5.1.1-all.zip
gradle.properties:
org.gradle.jvmargs=-Xmx1536M
android.enableJetifier=true
android.useAndroidX=true
android/build.gradle:
buildscript {
ext.kotlin_version = '1.3.40'
repositories {
google()
jcenter()
maven { url 'https://maven.fabric.io/public' }
}
dependencies {
classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:3.4.1'
classpath 'com.google.gms:google-services:4.2.0'
classpath 'io.fabric.tools:gradle:1.26.1'
classpath "org.jetbrains.kotlin:kotlin-gradle-plugin:$kotlin_version"
}
}
android/app/build.gradle:
dependencies {
implementation "org.jetbrains.kotlin:kotlin-stdlib-jdk7:$kotlin_version"
testImplementation 'junit:junit:4.12'
androidTestImplementation 'androidx.test:runner:1.1.1'
androidTestImplementation 'androidx.test.espresso:espresso-core:3.1.1'
}
You might also want to check your flutter dependencies and make sure all of them are compatible with AndroidX. Hope it helps.
I think this issue should be solved with some configurations with AndroidX. I will close it now
