As a frequent user of pdfcrop, i find myself typing in the same filename twice, as i do not need the uncropped pdf after having cropped the original.
For this reason an --overwrite option can be nice, to save one from writing the same filename twice, especially handy if the file is located "far" away, e.g. through many folders.
