Sega Game Gear: Shining Force Gaiden - Final Conflict doesn't launch

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try to open a ROM of Shining Force Gaiden - Final Conflict

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The game is supposed to start, it doesn't. I just see black screen and hear 
nothing.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Bizhawk 1.8.2, Bizhawk 1.9.1; Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.
I used a ROM in .gg format.
