Which version of OpenMeetings are you running?

Hello guys!

I try, and success to install your project on my red5 server, but I met a
little problem. With some friends we've try to upload an avatar, but it
doesn't change anything, we can't choice them.
First I check the db, the correlation is good, the update works.

Fine.
After I look into the upload directory, and here again, all seems good,
because I can find every pictures, so the upload is ok.

My diagnostic is very simple, and I have two choice. First I forget to
setup any composant, however, You did a little error, and forgot to propose
the avatar changing.

What's your operating system on client and server side?

My Server is working on ubuntu, but I follow the the Debian install
instructions.

Is it a problem related to the client/usability or server-side?

No, not really...

Did you have any trace/debug output?

No more...

Thanks a lot for your attention. I will follow this thread hopefully .

I had a similar problem with avatar. Once I've uploaded a picture after a relog
my
picture was gone on both - chat and profile - and sometimes one of them was
visible.

I've noticed that the problem was with names of the pictures. When picture
contain
signs for example: łśź this problem accoured. When I've changed names of
picture for
english sings only for example: lsz my problem was gone. Hope it's help
someone. I
think the same problem is related to issue 839

Regards
