when i klick the save-button after entering a smtp-server an error message
is displayed (when installing openmeetings i didn't specify a smtp server)

I have tested on my version of openmeetings - works flawlessly, can you test it
more
thoroughly? Also, make sure you have the latest main.lzx.lzr=swf8.swf and try
to
clear the browser's cache and re-load the openmeetings after - I've had the
similar
errors some time ago when I used the wrong version.

I saw this error when the database was taken from rc0.7, and the code was
updated to
rc0.8.

I have exactly the same, running 0.8RC2 and for me it was a clean install (new
database), not an upgrade.

I can add new entries to the config (but see an error message) and can not
modify or
delete any entries (including those I've added myself) - screenshot attached
when
trying to update a test config entry I added

FYI, Same error occurs on version red5-openmeetings-0.9rc1-r2185. It looks to
me that
it is not looking at the database but a dataset in memory. I update the
database by
hand and the values do not get refreshed on the administration-configuration
page. I
need to restart red5 to see the new values.

works perfectly on red5_openmeetings_0_8_4_r2091
