Some errors during sending non-english iCal reminders from the scheduler #699

I've had several problems when using non-english interface and trying to 
send the iCal reminders over mail. The crashes aren't attached, but they 
were of some mystical nature like unexpected argument type or wrong number 
of arguments in Invoke() etc.
I've reviewed the client-side coda

*code and found some strange places which I would like to point out with the 
following patch. After it was applied the errors were gone. Sorry for dividing 
message on two parts - accident.
