not able to see presentation in whiteboard area #713

after installing latest version, i am getting this error while trying to 
display an uploaded presentation (pdf). see screenshot attached. Am i 
missing any setup?

Good shot. The problem could happen due to number of reasons, please, check and 
quote
 your system logs.
