Need to install 4.1.99 to upgrade from 4.2.6?

When I launch the updater I get: "You are running an old version of
Cyanogens Roms.  To use the Updater, you have to upgrade manually.  You can
click on the open Browser Button below, to open up the insturctions, or
visit www.cyanogenmod.com."

But the browser page shows how to install 4.1.99!  Do I really need to
manually downgrade to 4.1.99 before I can upgrade from 4.2.6 to 4.2.13?

Currently running:
   CyanogenMod 4.2.6
   CM Updater v4.5.2.

I receive same message.  Verification that we need to downgrade would be very
helpful.  Or should we just follow instructions on
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php/Main_Page#Upgrading_from_4.1.99_or_higher:
 for
a manual upgrade.  Thanks!

We are running > 4.1.99, in fact greater than 4.2.5.  Will the CM Updater be 
updated 
to allow it to upgrade our versions?
