One easy way to do this is to auto-tag the bookmark with "month-year". So, any bookmarks I add today will contain "September 2024" as an automatic tag.
For those who want their tags clear, you could keep this as a togglable option in the settings.
Searching based on bookmark metadata (including the date) is coming very soon :)
This is hard to explain, but the most common usage of this I have seen is on photo apps that show "Jun 2024", "May 2024", etc. on the side next to the scroll bar or as group headers.
Sometimes, and I don't know if others do this, I search for old bookmarks based on my memory of when I had bookmarked it - Last month I was searching for some video editing tools, so let me jump to last month to search for them.
I know someone may say, "why not just search for the tag?", which would be a good point, but with the auto-tagging feature, it's difficult to say what the tag may be. Or I may be searching for a specific tool that I don't remember the name of (happens a lot of times), but only remember when I bookmarked it, in which case, searching by tag or name may be difficult.
Just a use case for me, but a good addition as a feature for making bookmarks more accessible.
