IRC - xdcc send

Using the command "xdcc send" when I'm already downloading a file from a bot 
and then transfer part of the same file from another bot, it should not go.

Are you talking about saving two files with the same name to the same place?

Usually with mIRC launch more "xdcc send" to download a file to multiple bots.
The first file that starts begin to download the others fail.
But with Miranda start multiple instances of the same file.

What you are saying is confusing.

How can you download file to the bot? Are you trying you trying "download from" 
the bot or "upload to" the bot?

And yes in Miranda you can download file as many times as you like, name does 
not matter, Miranda will just rename it.

Example:
I have to download the file aaa.zip
aaa.zip can be downloaded from the bot bot01 from bot02 and bot03.
Not knowing how long the queue, I ask all the bot files aaa.zip.
Then, xdcc send bot01, xdcc send bot02 and xdcc send bot03.
I discover that the queue of bot01 and bot02 is very long and instead the bot03 
I immediately began to download the file.
Now I'm downloading the file aaa.zip from bot03.
If I did not remove the requirement to file bot01 bot02 and after a while these 
bots send me the file.
aaa.zip is still downloading... bot01 sends me the file aaa.zip that I am 
already receiving from bot03.
What should happen now?
In theory I should continue to receive the file from bot03 and from bot01, 
bot02 must abort.
Instead it happens that all three bots download the same file.

1. You can configure Miranda to ask you before starting to download. 

2. Well, that the one example. Now let me give you another. 
You have private chat with 2 people both of them at some point sent you file 
called "aaa.zip", but that is a different file. Do you want to get both? Or 
only from the contact who sent first? What if month ago somebody sent you file 
called "aaa.zip" already? There is no difference between 2 bots sending file 
with the same name and 2 contacts sending the with the same name. Or even the 
same contact sending file with the same name more then once.

So I am not sure how you want to handle this.

1. Yes, I know. But I flagged "Auto-Accept" because I launch the command "xdcc 
send 'to more bots and then I leave the home.

In this case I set in "File transfers" - "If coming Already files exist", 
"Rename". But I want to leave, "Resume" because I download large files "like in 
movies" and there is a risk that the transfer is interrupted.

None of you ever used mIRC to download movies or iso?

I guess you missed the point #1 and #2 is the same from Miranda prospective. 
And you are asking for different behavior.... It cannot be done ....

Maybe I was not articulate enough.
I doubt that this thing can not be done if with mirc you can.
Should only take a control.
If aaa.zip is currently downloading, do not start to download another file with 
the same name.

That's not a bug report anymore then. Borkra said that by design bots and 
contacts are the same and you can't make file transfers rename/resume with one 
and cancel with the other.
