How to close image without closing Photivo #101

Not possible and probably won’t be added in the foreseeable future. What’s 
you use case? Why do you want to only close the image (in contrast to loading 
another one or closing Photivo completely)?

Thank you for the reply.

I suppose I am not really sure why I would want this.  I tried to do it and 
failed and thought it odd that there was no way to do it.  I assumed I had 
overlooked something which exists in all the other editing programmes that I 
have experienced.
