When I try to start another copy it just jumps to the original copy! #7

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I start gwml as administrator.
2. I start my first copy of GW
3. Then when I try to start the second copy it just jumps me over to the
original copy

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect it to launch my second copy! I've been using this program for a
couple of weeks now and this is the first time this has happened!

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using the 64 bit, version 6

Please provide any additional information below.

I am getting the exact same problem, I'm on windows 7 64-bit, running version
.6 of multilaunch. Is there a solution at this point? I have already tried the
steps listed in the FAQ.

One thing that may be worth trying is the guild wars folder to a different
location. I assume it is in program files folder? Try putting it in C:\Games\
so it is in less restrictive folder. Vista/Win7 may have special behaviors with
games located in program files folder.

If you are attempting to start separate copies, the only thing which would make
it go back to first copy is if GWML is blocked either by system permissions or
some other security software from accessing the initial copy.

I know this can be frustrating but I really can't diagnose and have resolution
for this unless I can reproduce the issue. I know the software works fine on
thousands of other systems.

My best guess may be it conflicting with security software at this point.

Another thing which may help is, deleting gw.exe(Do not delete gw.dat though)
and doing the gwsetup again. This should be very quick since majority of game
files is in the gw.dat file.

Deleting the exe is important in case it got corrupted. The program may not
work properly if gw.exe is not the original from arenanet.

You need to have multi folders for your guild wars

SO like i have
C:\GuildWars
c:\Guildwars- Alt
c:\Guildwars - Dave
C:\Guildwars - Billy
Every folder has its own dat files and settings....

I have all the login info plugged into each folder and listed as 4 dif options
to log on as in GWMultilaunch..

I can open all 4 like this with no issues eber..

I have mine in 4 separate folders directly in C: but yet it still at least
twice a day opens one copy then will just switch to an already open copy. The
only I have seen to fix this is by restarting anything you all can suggest with
so I don't have to restart every few hours?

Yes I have the same problem. I works fine for awhile, then after a full day or
two it will stop launching multiple copies. The only way I find to fix this is
by completely shutting down the computer and re-starting. It works every time
but it's a pain and haven't been able to figure a way around it.
