i tried something.....
attached is the new suite. because it contains changes on many files, you have 
to
make a complete new installation of gcalendar with the attached file (note it 
must be
unziped first). please post back if the fixes are working.

the commit is r501

Getting closer!  I'm not seeing the overlap now...but still showing the "Every 
Month 
begins on Sunday" issue.
