When creating a GCalendar - if the template background is white then entries on the calendar do not appear as they are also white

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Having a white background on your joomla site
2. Create a GCalendar in the normal way
3. Do not add a coloured background in GCalendar.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
An ability to change the text colour as well as the background colour for
GCalendar event entries within the GCalendar component setup screen.

joomla: 1.5
php: 5.2.9
mysql:5.0.77 - community
apache: 2.2.11(unix)
os: Linux server - macosx client
Browser: firefox, safari, opera
