We receive numerous reports that clients regularly show status "disconnected". This bug might be in direct correlation with the problem of "missing push notification".
Re-Tested
This issue is quite difficult to reproduce as we have tested different behavior on different devices.
Sometimes, the client shows "not connected" when
too much traffic was received (group chats)
client is not used for a longer period of time (very hard to reproduce)
connection switched (WIFI / cellular) - however, in this case client normally reconnects immediately
no recognizable reason
with some clients alert "not connected" appears regularly in short intervals but reconnect quickly again
Situation:
Client is not able to receive or send message, cannot generate invite code but receives online status updates from other clients. When wifi connection is disabled and enabled again, client reconnects again. When being in state "not connected" and pushed to background, client does not correctly disconnects and no push notification are received.
