Keyboard shortcut Control-W stops working after adding a bookmark #1

Steps

  1. Click the star
  2. select a folder for the bookark
  3. click Done
  4. Control-W

Expected

  1. closure of the tab

Actual result

  1. no closure

Workaround

  1. quit the application.

The workaround is disruptive so instead, I chose to disable the extension.

Environment

Add Bookmark Here ²

Home-built Waterfox Classic 56.2.14 (20191007063316) on FreeBSD-CURRENT, with the dual-purpose (twinned) bookmarks button to the right of the address bar.

Numerous other extensions so this may be an extensions conflict. (Not forgetting my comment at https://www.reddit.com/comments/cxct6b/-/ezfnp49/, note to self: https://www.reddit.com/comments/93x02v/-/ to troubleshoot.)

So, what addons are you running? I experienced too, but do not have default bookmarks.
