Restarted it and after sometime (or maybe right after) was fixed. Very strange. Bottom speaker worked fine.
I'm getting this issue now.
@asdf2345 Can you describe what you're seeing? I kinda forgot what caused this.
I get a phone call and earpiece speaker doesn't work. Before I could just call back and it would work, but now it often doesn't work even after a fresh boot. Switched back to XZ for now.
@asdf2345 Does it work outside of calls? Test it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TWJaFD6R2s Could be a hardware issue, that top speaker is glued to the front panel and that slowly gets looser over time to it's seating to the body making the speaker connections to the motherboard/circuit loose
Finally got around to testing, after a fresh boot it does appear to work for that video. I don't want to main the phone again just yet but I'll reflash eventually and try again.
Happened one before and has happened again on my main phone. The top speaker, used for calls, can break. Calls do not work on it, even on speaker phone (the bottom one works). Just happened as of typing and had months of no trouble before. Unknown what has caused it, tried calling on low battery I guess (14%), but hasn't been an issue in the past. It's almost like it times out or something in this state. I think ringtones do not work, but music does. Not sure if it's device either, or what the cause could be.
