Backlight does not turn back on when waking up from sleep on HOX+

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set capacitive buttons backlight brightness to "bright"
2. Turn screen off
3. Wait for device to go to sleep
4. Press power key to wake device back up

Expected Behaviour:
Capacitive buttons backlight turns back on when the screen turns on

Actual Behaviour:
Capacitive buttons backlight does not turn back on

This issue is intermittent and has been reported by 2 HOX+ users in v1.0.8.
