Google Earth placemark editing UI will not allow entry of dates earlier than 1753 #238

Which products are affected?
Google Earth 5

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Edit a new placemark in Google Earth 5
2. Click on the View tab and select Time Stamp from the Date/Time pulldown
3. Try to enter a date earlier than 1/1/1753 12:00:00 AM in the date field

What is the expected output or behavior? What do you see instead?
I would hope that dates would go as early as the ISO 8601 spec allows - it
would be useful for archaeological or other applications to allow BCE
dates, etc.

What application versions (if any) are you using?

Google Earth

Actually the issue begins at 1752-09-14, the implementation of the Gregorian
Calendar in the British Empire. It seems that no one has addressed this,
because GE keeps forcing date changes on pasted kml data. It makes Google Earth
unusable for historians looking to display events before this point.
